Tonight, the GTEL Circuit Experience Championship heads to the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza for Round 8. Known as the “Temple of Speed”, Monza is a legendary track where slipstreams, late braking, and nerves of steel decide the outcome.
We will be tackling a one-hour race in the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 ’13, with qualifying starting at 20:30 CET. With two tire compounds (Soft/Medium) required, strategy will play just as big a role as raw pace. Add in 2x tire wear, 3x fuel consumption, and Monza’s high-speed chicanes, and mistakes could prove costly.
Expect fierce drafting battles down the long straights, daring overtakes into the Rettifilo and Ascari chicanes, and plenty of drama through Parabolica. This round is all about precision and consistency under pressure.
So, who will master Monza tonight? My bet’s on Snail or Donny, but Voort or Death (especially now with his brand new racing setup) should be equally fast. In the Temple of Speed, anything can happen!
