Hypercars Baby! — The GTEL Hypercar Series Is About to Begin

GTEL is about to enter a new era — Hypercars!

Tonight marks the beginning of our next series with a pre-season qualifying round.

The series will feature the newest Hypercar additions to GT7, with seven races on the calendar. Two of them will be proper endurance tests, with 2-hour races at Daytona and Le Mans. The remaining events will challenge the drivers across some of the world’s most iconic circuits.

But there’s a twist: this is a team championship. Drivers will be paired into two-driver teams, with the team compositions determined by tonight’s qualifying results. Once the qualifier is complete, we’ll reveal the teams and their respective car choices.

Tonight’s Qualifier

The qualifier isn’t just about setting a fast lap — it could determine your entire season.

With BOP on, aero and brake balance open, and full damage enabled, consistency and precision will be just as important as outright pace. Fuel and tyre consumption are both set to 1x, while penalties are weak.

Check our calendar for the practice and race times in your timezone. If you’re new to racing with us, make sure to read the Drivers code of conduct. Rules and regulations do apply and penalties will be issued if necessary.
