After an exciting Gr.3 Championship, GTEL is ready to kick off a brand-new season — and this time, we’re stepping into the world of Hypercar racing!
Tonight, September 13th, we head to the legendary Daytona Road Course (DT’s favourite) for Race 1 of our new seven-race series. Expect two hours of high-speed racing, strategic pit stops, and some serious battling under the lights.
This season also features drivers teams.
Tonight’s Race — Daytona Road Course
Qualifying: 10 minutes
Race: 2 hours
Start: Rolling start
Tyres: mandatory two-compound
The Hypercars will be put to the test, with heavy damage, fuel and tyre management, and a mandatory two-compound strategy. Drivers will need to use at least two different tyre compounds from Racing Hard, Racing Medium, and Racing Soft. BOP enabled, open aero and brake balance.
