Hobz’s V8 Supercars — Round 2: Red Bull Ring
After an action-packed opener at Deep Forest Raceway, the grid heads to Austria for Round 2 at the Red Bull Ring. Today’s challenge is all about precision braking, good exits, and managing wheelspin.
The Red Bull Ring looks simple at first glance, but don’t be fooled. Three long straights feed directly into three tight hairpins, making every braking point a potential overtaking spot — and every early throttle application a risk-reward moment that can decide your entire race. Strategy will play a major role as well: with fuel and tire wear at 2x, mandatory S/M/H compounds, and random weather, adaptability might matter more than outright pace. If the skies open up, the race can shift in an instant.
Lobby settings:
- 1-hour race, 10-minute qualifying
- Penalties OFF, damage LIGHT
- Fuel/Tire wear = 2x/2x
- Weather = Random
- Mandatory compounds: S / M / H (unless rain forces wets)
- Car limits: Min 1350 kg | Max 565 BHP | Max 709 PP
See you on the grid for Round 2 — where the hills of Styria are ready to echo with V8 thunder.
