Hobz’s V8 Supercars — Round 3 | It’s raceday

Ladies and gentlemen, fasten your belts and remember your brake markers, because Round 3 takes us to Trial Mountain, (also known as the ‘roller-coaster’). This track has everything: long straights, tight kinks, questionable rock formations, and just enough elevation changes to make your suspension question its life choices.

After two rounds of glorious (rain) chaos and at least three people forgetting which tyres they’re on, the grid now arrives at a circuit that demands precision… or at least a brave attempt at it.

Despite the long straights, overtaking won’t be as easy as at Deep Forest or the Red Bull Ring. Why? Because the corners here are just tricky enough to punish optimism but just wide enough to encourage it anyway.

With three tyre compounds still mandatory, strategy is wide open. Will our drivers play it safe? Probably not.
